What it's like to feel "at home"

Peace of mind. Trust. Mutual respect.

Everyday stressors, relationships, and past traumas can lead to feelings of depression, anxiety, and anger. Our approach is to empower you to discover strengths within yourself to overcome barriers in your life. Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?

Our therapists work with each person to see what type of counseling best fits their needs. We provide individual therapy, group therapy and online counseling. We utilize a variety of techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, EMDR, cognitive processing therapy, and "walk and talk" therapy.

I am away at college (or travel for my job), but my home base is tampa bay. Can I still receive counseling?

Yes! We can provide services to anyone living in Florida. Home Again Counseling provides telemental health counseling through a secure website. We encourage office visits when you are visiting friends or family.

How long of a time period does therapy last?

Each counseling session lasts 45-60 minutes. The amount of therapy sessions varies depending on issues and severity. Our first counseling session will give us more information to provide you with a more accurate prediction. During the counseling process, clients tend to gain awareness for issues they may have had a different perspective on before counseling. It takes time to self-reflect, find answers in a guided and safe environment, and ultimately begin to change behaviors or attitudes. Therapy helps to acceralate this process in a healthy way, but everyone is different.

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept several major insurance plans. Many of our clients utilize their Health Savings Account to offset costs. For those out of network, we are happy to supply you with a "superbill" that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.Under the new No Surprises Act, each client who doesn’t have insurance or is not using insurance will receive an estimate of the bill for counseling services.
