Trauma Counseling
Life happens and unfortunately trauma happens. No one is immune from the effects of traumatic life events. Our counselors are specially trained in counseling those effected by trauma. We help those struggling with painful events (both recent and in the past) overcome their symptoms of trauma and feel safe.

Some symptoms of trauma include
- Intrusive memories or flashbacks 
- Avoidance (of talking about the event/s, places, or thoughts) 
- Mood Swings, aggressiveness, irritability 
- Depression and anxiety 
- Easily startled 
- Fearfulness 
- Trouble sleeping 
- Feelings of numbness 
- Not wanting to be touched 
- Trouble concentrating 
- Self-destructive behaviors 
- Feelings of guilt and shame 
- Thoughts of suicide 
Examples of common traumas include
- Suicide of a loved one 
- Accidents that caused or threatened injury 
- Physical, emotional or sexual abuse 
- Victim or witness to violence 
- Victim or witness to crime 
- Chaotic/unstable childhood 
- Medical traumas 
- Natural Disasters 
- Divorce

Individual Counseling
Trauma survivors need a safe and non-judgmental space to talk things out. Our specially trained trauma counselor’s work with you to overcome symptoms related to traumatic events.
Group counseling
Group counseling provides the opportunity for our clients to hear different perspectives and receive support from their peers experiencing similar challenges.
