Trauma Counseling

Life happens and unfortunately trauma happens. No one is immune from the effects of traumatic life events. Our counselors are specially trained in counseling those effected by trauma. We help those struggling with painful events (both recent and in the past) overcome their symptoms of trauma and feel safe.

We understand the struggles that result from daily struggles and traumatic events.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is trauma counseling different?

There is overlap between different counseling interventions. However, our counselors are specifically trained in treatment interventions that are shown to be especially effective when working with trauma.

How much are sessions?

$150 to $175 for a 55-minute session. However, we are currently on a few insurance panels and EAP plans. Many families use their FSA/HSA cards. For those who have insurance that we do not accept, we provide superbills to the clients so they can utilize their out of network benefits. Under the new No Surprises Act, each client who doesn’t have insurance or is not using insurance will receive an estimate of the bill for counseling services.
