Benefits of online counseling

  • Convenience. You can schedule your counseling session during your lunch break, or whenever works best in your schedule.

  • Receive the best quality of care for your unique needs. You don’t have to settle for a therapist just because they are down the street and easy to get to. With online counseling you can have access to a trauma specific specialist wherever you are located.

  • Continuity. Are you moving away for college or do you have a job that requires travel across Florida? With online counseling, you can maintain counseling sessions while traveling within the state of Florida.

  • No travel time or costs. We understand crazy schedules. Parents and their families have work, tutoring, sports and clubs. We get it. Traveling to a therapist’s office takes time. You can have your therapy session from your own room, office, or car (while it’s parked), without having to budget time to and from the office.

  • Socially Distant for your health and safety. Online counseling is a safe way to receive mental health services and is as effective as in-person counseling. Stay safe and secure in the comfort of your own space.

Frequently Asked Questions by Parents

Will my insurance cover online counseling?

Yes, most insurance plans are covering telehealth sessions due to COVID 19. Always call your insurance provider to confirm your plan's benefits and coverage.

How much are sessions?

$150 to $175 for a 55-minute session. However, we are currently on several insurance panels and EAP plans. Many families use their FSA/HSA cards. If we are not in network with your insurance we provide superbills to clients so they can utilize their out of network benefits. Under the new No Surprises Act, each client who doesn’t have insurance or is not using insurance will receive an estimate of the bill for counseling services./p>
