Individual Counseling

We hear a lot that you only go to counseling if you’re crazy. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Mental Health is not the same thing as mental illness. Individual counseling provides a non-judgmental and safe space to gain healthy coping skills to overcome stressors. People go to the gym to become healthier. Think of counseling as a “mental health gym” for your social-emotional wellbeing.

Sometimes we don’t know how much events can affect us. We are told it is not okay to let things bother us. It’s perceived as a weakness. As a result, we bury things to just through the day.

Let us help you discover your strength through knowing and understanding. We help you get past “just functioning”, and get you back to living again.

“Just because the past didn’t turn out like you wanted it to, doesn’t mean the future can’t be better than you ever imagined.”
— Ziad Abdelnour

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you seeing individuals in person during the pandemic?

Currently, we are seeing clients in person and online. However, we determine the best fit for services individually.

How much are sessions?

$150 to $175 for a 55-minute session. However, we are currently on several insurance panels and EAP plans. Many families use their FSA/HSA cards. If we are not in network with your insurance we provide superbills to clients so they can utilize their out of network benefits. Under the new No Surprises Act, each client who doesn’t have insurance or is not using insurance will receive an estimate of the bill for counseling services.

How do I make an appointment?

Email or call us. You can also make an individual appointment right here on our website. We are offering teen therapy groups in the summer.
